As a church we love to engage with our local community. We take any opportunity to put on events for everyone to enjoy!
Summer on the Mag
A large-scale community fete on Magdalen Square (usually an afternoon in June), organised through our partnerships with local charities, churches, businesses and organisations. Favourite contributers have included Guardsmen on stilts and the Teddy-Bear Zip Wire off the church tower!
Christmas on the Mag
Community carols on Magdalen Square (usually the Saturday afternoon before Christmas) with GY Brass and local stalls. Reindeer have attended and the human Snow Globe proves very popular.
Pancake party!
On Shrove Tuesday, we make hundreds of pancakes for families to enjoy after school - and we have crazy pancake games to join in with too (involving pancakes being tossed at a great height!).
light on a dark night
On Halloween, pass through our Twilight Maze to find your way into the Light Zone where warming refreshments await and activities celebrating the light we find in Jesus.
Easter egg Trail
On Easter Saturday afternoon we run a trail around the estate culminating at the church with refreshments and activities. Creme Egg prizes are awarded to each person who completes the trail.
